![]() ![]() IIRC countess is 1/15, summoner 1/13, nith 1/11. Keys are nice b/c they have static drop rates and their bosses really aren't that hard to kill. If I'm really feeling it I'll sell those keys and buy smiter gear to farm torches to build wealth (but this is pointless if you don't commit). When I get a decently strong toon I transition to key farming. Generally, I start ladders/seasons with Meph/Andy/Trav runs to build characters out. I have a strong tendency towards routes with predictable returns. If you can clear out high volume fast, cows are a feasible way to build wealth. I've had streaks where the best rune I saw was a Gul for 10+ hours of total grind. I've had a day where two Jahs dropped within about 30 mins of each other. You'd be better off building your wealth buy farming bosses or keys or something until you can invest more into your char (to be able to clear faster, eventually making cows viable).Įven when you can clear cows fast, it doesn't necessarily mean you'll land HR's. If you can't clear cows hella fast, farm something else and eventually a high rune will drop when you aren't expecting it. ![]() ![]() If you're clearing cows and taking more than around 5 minutes, you're almost certainly better off farming somewhere else. Again, the strategy is to fucking fly through cows over and over and over for extended periods and hoping to nail that 1:600,000 roll. IMO cows are best for this, but CS is a close second. High runes are extremely rare and even if you approach finding them optimally you have to be lucky for them to drop.īecause high rune drop rates aren't affected by MF, your best bet to target them is to blast through high density high ilvl areas. So to be clear, "farming" high runes is a bit disingenuous as it implies you can consistently get them. ![]()
